Graduate Certificates
Graduate certificates are perfect for those who want to specialize in a particular discipline without committing time and investment in a complete master’s degree, as well as those who already have a graduate degree but want to extend their knowledge. Certificates represent an additional milestone in academic and professional development and become valuable additions to resumes and personnel files.
Educational Technology
Certificate courses are selected from Educational Technology’s master’s degree curriculum, so students who later decide to pursue a Boise State master’s degree in Educational Technology may apply their certificate credits toward that program.
Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning
(Formerly Instructional and Performance Technology)
Certificate courses are selected from the Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning master’s degree curriculum, so students who later decide to pursue a Boise State Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning master’s degree program may apply their certificate credits toward that program.

Graduate Degrees
Business Administration
Beginning fall 2013, Boise State University will offer a new online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Enrollment in the online MBA will begin in late spring 2013, and classes will start in August 2013. For more information see Program Overview.

The Educational Technology program focuses on topics specific to K-12 education, higher education, and e-learning and emphasizes issues surrounding online teaching, school technology coordination, and technology integration.

Endorsements
Idaho K-12 Online Teaching Endorsement
In August 2011, the Department of Educational Technology at Boise State University became a state approved K-12 Online Teaching Endorsement program provider in Idaho. This endorsement is a competency-based program and requires students to demonstrate their capabilities of online teaching and learning in meeting recommended proficiencies through a combination of course completions and submitted artifacts. Technology Accentuated Transformative Education for Rural Specialists (TATERS)
TATERS is for candidates who already have a bachelor’s degree and want to become certified in special education in Idaho, or for certified teachers who want to add an endorsement in special education in Idaho. This program does not result in a degree or certificate from Boise State University, but it does qualify students to obtain special education teacher certification from the State of Idaho.
